Cancellation, Deposit and Refund Policy
All reservations are subject to the terms of our Cancellation, Deposit, and Refund policy.
Our policies are designed to be fair to all our guests and partners whilst also protecting our business. Please understand that when we accept and confirm your reservation, this means we turn away all other requests. The following policy is designed to inform you to the best of our abilities about our cancellation, deposit, and refund policy. If you have any questions, please send an email to reservations@greatmountainbali.com.
Please note that in order to make a reservation, you must be 18 years of age. Rates are subject to change at any time prior to your confirmation and payment. All room rates include ten per cent (10%) government tax, five per cent (5%) service charge, and a simple yet delicious breakfast for all guests. Our resort follows a pro-rata system for distributing 100% of the service charges among our staff, taking into account the hours worked by each individual.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICY
To secure your booking, we kindly request a fifty per cent (50%) deposit of the total accommodation fee. Your booking is only fully confirmed once we have received this deposit, but we are happy to hold your reservation for 2 days (48 hours), if requested to do so. Please be aware that starting 30 days before your check-in date, the deposit you have made will become entirely non-refundable, and no reimbursements will be granted.
You have the option to pay through our website using a credit or debit card. Alternatively, we also accept payment through PayPal or bank transfer. Please email reservations@greatmountainbali.com if you’d like to pay via PayPal or bank transfer.
The remaining fifty per cent (50%) of your booking is payable upon check-in at Great Mountain Views Villa Resort. At the resort, you can pay either in cash or by card.
All excursion and travel fees are to be paid separately at the resort prior to taking part in the activity in question, unless these are part of a package agreed upon and paid for in advance. All food/drinks and other costs that you incur are payable upon departure, unless these are part of a package agreed upon and paid for in advance.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
When making your payment, please take note of our cancellation and refund policy:
- If you cancel your reservation thirty (30) days or more before your check-in date, we will refund your deposit in full.
- If you cancel your reservation less than thirty (30) days before your check in date, your deposit will become strictly non-refundable, and no refund will be issued.
If you wish to reschedule an existing booking to an alternative date, please contact us at your earliest convenience by email at
reservations@greatmountainbali.com or via WhatsApp (+62 8585 701 3416). We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements for you, but failing that, the same Cancellation and Refund policy as outlined above will apply.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Upon successfully making a booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your Inbox and notify us at reservations@greatmountainbali.com if you haven’t received a booking confirmation email within 24 hours of making your booking. If you have not received a confirmation email, you may not have a valid room booking.
NO-SHOW AND EARLY-DEPARTURES POLICY
No Shows and Early Departures will be charged in full for all nights reserved.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
No refunds will be considered for weather conditions. Due to the unpredictability of the weather, we recommend that guests who intend on climbing Mount Agung, or on participating in any of our other tours or activities, stay multiple days at Great Mountain Views. This will increase their chances of being able to do the mountain trek and/or take part in their chosen activities.
GMV cannot be held responsible for any weather conditions preventing guests from climbing Mount Agung or from taking part in any other activity organised by the resort. However, Management will do everything in their power to suggest alternative activities or make alternative arrangements.
